How to choose the difference between explosion-proof lamp and tri-proof lamp?

2021-10

Three-proof lamp refers to waterproof, dust-proof and anti-corrosion. #Explosion-proof lamp# means no sparks. Some explosion-proof lamps include three-proof, but three-proof lamp does not include explosion-proof. If you want to know the difference between explosion-proof lights and tri-proof lights, we need to know their respective definitions.

Traditionally, because of the use needs of different lighting environments, it may need to be dust-proof, moisture-proof, anti-corrosion, explosion-proof, waterproof, etc., but not every lamp can have these functions at the same time. We are used to the least of them. Special lighting fixtures with three functions are called three-proof lamps, and three-proof lamps that are adapted to straight tube fluorescent lamps are also called three-proof lamp brackets.

Dust-proof: In some special areas, there are dust-free purification requirements, and the lamps must be dust-proof;

Moisture-proof: In some lighting spaces, where the humidity is high, it must be moisture-proof to avoid damage to the electrical parts of the lamps;

Anti-corrosion: In places such as chemical industry, the content of corrosive substances such as acid and alkali in the air is high, so the lamp has anti-corrosion requirements;

Explosion-proof: In areas such as warehouses, to eliminate the possibility of flammability and explosion, the lamps must be explosion-proof;

Waterproof: For example, outdoor lighting places, which may be washed by rain, etc., need to be waterproof.

The essential difference between the two in the core design is that the LED explosion-proof lamp is to protect the safety of the environment, and the three-proof lamp is to protect the service life of the lamp itself. If the LED lamp is dustproof, waterproof, and explosion-proof (anti-corrosion) treatment, it can be used as a three-proof lamp.
